At Vermeer, I worked with the Intelligent Systems team to build mobile apps that interface with various Vermeer equipment. I also utilized automated testing frameworks and a local database environment to end-to-end UI test applications. I got experience building software in a large company and learned how software engineering fits into the manufacturing business. I also got experience using Agile and Scrum project management strategies.

At Zirous, I worked with a team of talented interns in the VAEZR Studio division: a team focused on virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR) app development for companies to utilize in their business. We created VR experiences for Zirous and Zirous's clients to use, such as a tour of the Zirous office and a client's manufacturing plant. This opportunity opened my eyes to different ways of thinking and new possibilities in the computer world. I gained experience in software engineering, collaboration, requirements gathering, design thinking, and presenting deliverables to clients. I also had a ton of fun networking with intelligent team members in leadership at Zirous and going to company events.

In spring of 2022, One of my co-founders of Casmium, LLC, Pradyumna Dahal, and I were
accepted into the ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship's CYstarter Summer
Accelerator program: An 11-week bootcamp geared to giving students time, funding,
and resources to continue to grow their
existing business or business idea.
Pradyumna, three other students (who
do not
attend Iowa State), and I created the Casmium business back in 2020 right before the
beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the goal of creating a solution to improve
the use of stats in high school baseball teams (read more at the link below). In
2022, after nearing completion of our minimum viable product, we desired to learn
how to most effectively market our product to our ideal customer and learned about
the CYstarters opportunity. Our final business pitch was a success and our company
gained an abundance of marketing and customer engagement strategies as well as
additional network connections and beta testers.

From Summer 2018 to Summer 2021, I was employed at a Code Ninjas franchise: A center for kids ages 7-14 to learn how to create their video games and participate in STEM activities. I assisted kids by teaching coding concepts, led summer camps, and observed kids' progress through a self-guided curriculum as they experienced the joy of coding.
